School Lunches

Regular, nutritious food is vital for children’s physical, mental and educational development. It affects their ability to focus, concentrate and learn. At Melville Intermediate School, we are proud to be a part of the Ministry of Education healthy school lunch programme.

A nutritious lunch meal will be offered at no cost to every student. Students still have the choice of bringing their own food, and we encourage parents to send snacks for the morning interval break, if possible. However, we expect every student to try the school lunch provided.

A questionnaire, outlining your child’s dietary needs, is part of the enrolment pack. You can also download this questionnaire below. This form includes any medical, religious or ethical food restrictions.

All students will receive the standard lunch, unless specific dietary needs are identified.

Our school lunch provider is Libelle. You can view this week’s menu here
